Arden began his tattoo career as the apprentice at The East in Summer 2019. Apprenticeships don’t come easily around here, but Arden’s natural talent, his determination and constant quest for knowledge made him an obvious candidate for the position.

Arden’s apprenticeship was concluded in January 2021. He’s now a full-fledged artist, tattooing alongside the rest of us at The East. We’re all proud of how quickly he’s taken to the craft of tattooing, and look forward to seeing him grow in the industry.

• How did you become an artist?  I’ve been drawing ever since I can remember; growing up with the encouragement from my mom who is also an artist. I’ve always known I wanted to be in some sort of artistic field, and tattooing happened to resonate with me the most. I was lucky enough to get my apprenticeship at The East and be taken under Steve’s wing. Working with the talented artists here everyday has only  strengthened my passion for art and tattooing!
